Clinical Practice Guidelines

A “Clinical Practice Guideline” (CPG) is defined as a “systematically developed statement to assist practitioner and patient decisions about appropriate health care for specific clinical circumstances.”

These following CPGs are advisory in nature and are designed to assist the Canadian Chiropractic Rehabilitation Specialists by providing an evidence-based framework for the evaluation and treatment of common clinical problems. They do not replace a Rehabilitation Specialist’s own clinical judgment in the management of an individual patient’s condition.
